Pastor Brian Mackie has been serving our congregation since 2010.
He is also an Upper Elementary Teacher for Surety Christian Academy in Richmond, IN.
He enjoys helping people to know the Good News of the message of Jesus!
His family includes his wife and three children.
They are involved in 4H shooting sports, tractor club and baking, along with TaeKwonDo through the Mooreland First Christian Church. The family has also started a square dance club in Hagerstown called the Nettle Creek Crusaders, where his three children are all callers.
Brian also enjoys watcthing Star Wars, rooting for the Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts, listening to Elvis Presley and reading for entertainment.
Pastor Brian is ordained with the Covenant Brethren Church and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Anderson University, along with a Master's of Divinity degree from Bethany Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University.
Pastor Brian previously served as the Pastor for the Nettle Creek Church of the Brethren in Hagerstown, IN (2013-2025) and Associate Pastor for New Life Church in Mt. Pleasant, MI (2005-2010).
